Any notice how many sloppy listing advertisements there are on MLS. Tons of spelling errors etc...
I'm surprised that seller's aren't forcing those realtors to edit and make changes, there's a few listings that have been sitting with mistakes for a very long time.

you don't need to be literate to be a realtor.

by the way, the selling agent i was dealing when i bought my raw building lot was drunk and smoked like a chimney

...yes, me too. But consider this, many of the realtors who Red Lantern is picking on have only recently learned the English language. So yes, it would be nice if your agent is a great salesperson and can spell too, but I think a certain amount of tolerance should be in order.

You idiots realize that the Board does most of the input, right? Many realtors send in the listings and the Board is the one that puts it up. Typos happen all the time. Suck it up.

I have seen a lot of listings where a Realtor needs to do basic math as well. Listings for acreage where the dimensions of the property are NO where close to number of acres listed . Yet when they calculate their commission bet it is not by a penny.
