Why is it when you look at the listings on Realtor.ca you put in looking at acreage you get timeshares , apartments, cabins at resorts all coming up??? If i am looking for acreage i am wanting to BUY THE LAND not visit for week 23- 27. Or be able to walk around near some acreage. Why do realtors list houses on there as to have them come up as acreage by using acre as the keyword. This really needs to get fixed . I want to be able to do with the acreage what i want like farm it or whatever. I have written to CREA but they ignore this. CREA said they just list the properties verbatim. It is also very amazing how many realtors DO NOT KNOW what an acre is. I asked about one property and got the measurements of the land in feet and there was a Major difference in the acreage size and what was listed. If only their math was so good at calculating their commission i would save thousands of dollars.
