Re: We no longer live in Vancouver. We live on the planet

I'm pretty sure the difference has to do with the rental units and Rennie playing games with what was "available" - using semantics.

It reminds me of something a politician would do - how much do we trust them?

Re: We no longer live in Vancouver. We live on the planet

Really real: Do people actually pay attention to what Bob Rennie says? ..... He might know a thing or two..... Would you rather listen HomelessinSD? Or VREAA? Or taipan, or VBlog,?.....those cork suckers have been awful quiet lately. Or how about Rofina, he has superior risk assessment ab...

Re: Would you buy

Breathtakingly dumb advice, Whipmaster. I thought you were savvy. If the market drops while they have bought a new property but not sold their current one, their net worth will drop twice as fast if they switched without holding. If you want to invest in RE, buy some farmland or take a look at thes...

Re: Chinese police to patrol Paris , How about Vancouver?

How about not Vancouver? - for so many reasons it's not even worth discussing.

Re: Primal fear and the Vancouver signage debate

What's the big deal?

Some people don't mind Chinese signs, others do. Nobody is right or wrong.

As long as the laws of the country are being followed, not a big deal.

Re: If this is an omen, we are all screwed here in Vancouver

The food quality in Vancouver is superb. Actually the Chinese food quality in Vancouver is kind meh and no where close to the real Chinese/Japanese/Korean food in Asia, since you can't import every single ingredient and water. (NY style pizza taste nothing like pizza in NY because the water is diff...

Re: Banks cracking down on approvals???

Maybe that's why the banks are really tightening up hard recently.
Banks are tightening up because the government is out of money to backstop their risky mortgages. This will eventually sink in...
