Re: Should the government intervene?

Sucks for kids...no Halloween candy at that house, no Chritmas light on that block, no neighbourhood kids to play with in that area etc etc Yah - but who cares about kids. Clearly not foreigners. i've met a lot of the kids raised here. i wouldn't want my kids hanging out with them either. Trust me ...

Re: Should the government intervene?

So community means nothing to you? No need to answer that. it's not all it's cracked up to be. for example, you can't choose your neighbors, what makes you think you will like your neighbors? some neighborhoods are better than some, most people keep to themselves and that's fine. it's called mindin...

Re: Thoughts From My 1st Visit to China (Fuzhou)

People in the know know its not all about wages or salaries
so long as people rich people continue buying - yes.

When they stop buying... guess what, only incomes/salaries can prop up the market.

Up to now they haven't stopped buying. but tomorrow is another day.

Re: Thoughts From My 1st Visit to China (Fuzhou)

Completely stupid argument. Locals pay what they can afford based on incomes. Has zero to do with complacancy. *shaking my head in disbelief at the stupid things people believe* not true, desirable places are not based on local incomes. like all the other desirable international cities. reason why ...

Re: Thoughts From My 1st Visit to China (Fuzhou)

the fallacy of all this is, the disruption of the balance of power has caused tremendous propaganda against western competitors to the point that it's just mudslinging to maintain their status quo of world power. the balance of power is shifting and caucasian people are pissed. look at all the angr...

Re: Thoughts From My 1st Visit to China (Fuzhou)

the locals and natives here had it good here for so long, maybe didn't realize the value and just receded into the complacency of it. I think this is the painfully obvious reality. This. Absolutely. Completely stupid argument. Locals pay what they can afford based on incomes. Has zero to do with co...

nope, they are just getting into the big leagues as they could not before. too oppressed. they deserve it. hard work does pay off. if caucasian people's greed ruined the chinese environment, why should they not leave? they aren't going to go to somewhere worse or equal or stay and be poisoned, they...

Re: private appraisal vs realtor appraisal

Geez - who would hire someone like tom as a realtor. can't even be bothered to read the simplest detail about the guy's situation. Too busy hearing what he wants to hear rather than listening to the needs of his potential client.
