Haha... eye, Yes, I am the part of riffraff you referring, but me and my wife just paid ROC near 1/2 m tax this year.

Yeah, little Jim, you know me, "extreme desperation" is all I need. :D 

Highrise condos in Surrey Central are hot...One has to write a clean offer with 20k above asking price if he consider himself as a serious buyer these days. 

The area is great, 40 mins skytrain to downtown water front. Prices are attractive, such as $410 k for a Bosa brand new unit, 2 br 1.5 bath, 700 sf, 32 floor, unblocked view,  $240 condo fee, heat and hot water included, $1650/m for the rent, 2.6% mortgage rate for 5 years. Jim, tell me why should I care of market up and down everyday like you? I bought quite few there this year, by the way, Wave is great.
