My conclusions so far

Postby Steinbock on Sun May 03, 2009 12:28 pm

All of the below applies in general terms, as anything else exceptions may apply.
My conclusions so far:
• Bears are the most negative people here.
• Since they are negative by nature; they are unable to accept any real, assumed or potential risk.
• Hence they are poor decision makers, hence are being referred to as “basement dwellers”
• Their vivid imagination, in addition to painting everything sh!t-brown for them, occasionally allows them to make claims about luxury items they own, trips they have taken/will take, attractive woman they date/dated, massive real estate holdings they posses and so on.
• Their inherited negativity actually allows them to think that the rest of world believes them in respect to those claims.
• They get offended rather easily and may threaten to collect their toys and go to their own sanbox.
• Any light at the end of the tunnel, to them, instantly becomes an oncoming train.
• If everything else fails, they will resort to personal attacks on others. Just because they can. It is a free country after all…

Wonderful Sunday to all!

I wish you were right betamax. In one sense Steinbock hits the nail regarding negativity, I really do think Steinbock believes the content of that post. Fortunately, it's also getting pretty obvious the bulls have a member with Multiple Online Personality Disorder among their number. This forum desperately needs to display posting IPs.

All of the below applies in general terms, as anything else exceptions may apply.
My conclusions so far:

1. With regards to RE sentiment, negative and positive are relative. One could argue that affordable pricing is a positive.

2. Sentiment aside, I think we all agree that a "false" economy based on excessive RE and construction is very negative.

Thus, FWIW, there really isn't positive and negative but right and wrong. If bears are right, they are merely realists, and bulls are ignorant. Jury is out, but clearly the bear argument is based on rational application of economic principles. The bull argument? A motley collection of cliches, non-sequitors, personal attacks, rearview mirror, and plain old silliness.

And there enlies your prejudice. Look at how you've worded your statement.
(And remember, I am a bear in the short to mid term.)
Since the jury is still out, what happens if the bulls are right and the bears are wrong?
Are the bulls still ignorant and are the bears still realists?
I think by your short-sighted, rear view, SpecuCritical way of thinking, yes.

That aint like you

Doesnt the Rational Application of Economic Principles always have a some byproduct of "Unintended Conequences" (ask the jury when they come back)

finally, something you said that I can agree with. I think we can effectively cull the bear population by 50% this way.

Statistically it had to happen sooner or later. You can with a straight face however claim Steinbock's adolescent rant isn't a troll? I'm really curious about your line of work if that's normal behaviour.

Scary eagle? Sorry, but no...
If you search this image on google, it wil come up with the caption" I am smiling".
Sorry I scared you. Did not know it would take that litle...

Let the personal attacks begin, I am sure you can do better than that ( and leave my avatar alone)
