A historic moment. Despite the NDP's poor election campaign, the people have spoken  :!:

I think the people have spoken more about the Liberals than the NDP.  The people slapped Christy for all the shit she has pulled, they don't trust the NDP enough to give them a mandate to govern.  We'll see what happens, but I suspect the Green party will be looking to align with the Liberals, rather than the NDP, because they have more ability to force the Liberals to make policy changes, rather than forming a coalition government with the NDP, which would force them into a bit player.

That's a good question, my bet is corporate donations and concessions on other areas, I think all 3 projects are past the point of no return.

Maybe not the bridge but I doubt they will want to bend on that one since its already started.

Liberals could still pull a rabbit out considering the courtenay / comox riding is 9 votes difference and would give them a majority. absentee ballots haven't been counted.

I dont like our system. My ridding is Adrian Dixx, he's a good guy. I've seen him at many community events with his wife and it seems like he's legitimately involved. I'm not a fan of NDP so I had to vote liberal even though I know Dixx is a far superior candidate as a person. He won easily in my ridding anyways.. so it dint matter

Sorry guys. Global News just spilled the beans. In 2013, Courtney-Comox absentee votes favoured the NDP. They had a 68 vote advantage over the BC Liberals!!!!
Eat dust, Christy Clark.
