The only BC Liberal stronghold in metro Vancouver is Richmond. You can be sure that Hogarth and Weaver will pay a lot of attention to the Chinese.  :!:

Here are the relevant issues. Will Green Party support Hard-Hat Christy Clark?

What could be the quid pro quo for the NDP-Green coalition? Green Party supports Hogarth's spending plan. Good for metro Vancouver. Supports the NDP's building program. Good for metro Vancouver. NDP supports the Green antipathy for fossil fuel. Good for metro Vancouver. NDP supports the Green Party's assault on speculators. Good for renters and young people in metro Vancouver.

Good choice Vancouver! Thumbs Up.

I think the people have spoken more about the Liberals than the NDP.  The people slapped Christy for all the shit she has pulled, they don't trust the NDP enough to give them a mandate to govern.  We'll see what happens, but I suspect the Green party will be looking to align with the Liberals, rather than the NDP, because they have more ability to force the Liberals to make policy changes, rather than forming a coalition government with the NDP, which would force them into a bit player.

I think this is all good news for Real Estate...if the NDP or NDP/Green won it would be bad news for sure

There are a number of policies on the Green Party wish list. What would Christy Clark accept?
a) abandon LNG?
b) abandon Site C
c) abandon the proposed Massey bridge?
d) ban corporate donations?
etc
