Tdma,
Would appreciate it if you could make some mature contributions to these discussions. The "moon" comments and bickering is tiring.

Impossible ETB.  Just put him/it on ignore and won't have to deal with the comments anymore.

Its probably time for someone to send an email to the moderator.  I'm sure they would ban TDMA for the trolling

MLS® Number: R2146986

46 7155 189 STREET, Surrey, British Columbia   V4N5S8
built 2006, Clayton heights 1,600 SQFT town home
$545,000
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

MLS® Number: R2149234
312 19936 56 AVENUE, Langley, British Columbia   V3A3X9
built 2012, Langley center by Willowbrook mall
1,000 SQFT condo / $319,000

You can find fairly new condo / town homes all day long in the Fraser valley for cheap. I don't understand this "affordable" housing nonsense. Are they talking about building affordable housing in False creek? Coal harbor? West point grey?

With the new Port Mann bridge the commute into Vancouver is very respectable. From exit of highway 1 from 200 street / 88th ave down to 200 /  64th ave they have been turning acreage lots into row homes / town homes / condos. There must have been thousands of units that hit the market over the past 10 years from the building frenzy.

A sky train running out to Langley would open up allot of this area, but who is going to pay $$$ I suppose.

In conclusion, there is no "supply" constraint on affordable housing,  there is a constraint of affordable housing in popular areas.
