The other guy is laughing at you.

The long term threat from a local pundit.

"Guns and butter: Why Donald Trump poses a threat to the Canadian economy

... The military establishment, including weapons manufacturers, is always a winner in a guns and butter scenario. Most of the rest of society loses.

That's because governments end up running huge deficits, which require them to borrow more money.

This, in turn, leads to higher interest rates as governments compete with the private sector for financial capital.

When interest rates go up, homeowners with variable-rate mortgages see their shelter costs increase. Some can even lose their houses or condos if they can't pay these higher mortgage payments..."

The President had a nice rally in Florida today.

In other news intelligent people know that if you're concerned about interest rates(false worry), then you can get a 10 year mortgage.

Problem is that he was driven out of DC. All his own fault.
"Reality collides with Trump's promises

The president proclaims a successful first month despite falling short on major pledges...

Despite dizzying sound and fury, the president failed to halt immigration from Muslim countries, to label China a currency manipulator, to deliver a serious plan for funding his border wall or to repeal Obamacare—all among his many promises during last year’s campaign. He even weakened ethics rules affecting lobbyists, in the guise of a promised ban."

He's not going to drain the swamp. He is a swamp monster.

Nice guys don't insult women and minorities. Fact, not fiction or lies.

Fact: Rrump just suffered a major defeat in congress. His approval ratings have never been positive. See this...

The world is a big place and everything is interconnected. That's why Asian immigrants are coming to Vancouver. No?

There hasn't been much 'wood' related industry for many years and thus America isnt as directly connected as most people assume it is

Intelligent people know there is very little industry with paper in Vancouver and its been like that for quite a while. The US and its leadership is not that related to Vancouver anymore.

He should clean up his own swamp.

"Inside the GOP’s Health Care Debacle

Eighteen days that shook the Republican Party—and humbled a president.

nald Trump had heard enough about policy and process. It was Thursday afternoon and members of the House Freedom Caucus were peppering the president with wonkish concerns about the American Health Care Act—the language that would leave Obamacare’s “essential health benefits” in place, the community rating provision that limited what insurers could charge certain patients, and whether the next two steps of Speaker Paul Ryan’s master plan were even feasible—when Trump decided to cut them off.

"Forget about the little shit," Trump said, according to multiple sources in the room. "Let's focus on the big picture here."

... Members of the Freedom Caucus realized right away that there would be no negotiating. Pence tried to pump up the conservatives, telling them the fight was theirs to win and that they needed to help Trump and Ryan score a victory for the new administration. The plea landed on deaf ears. "Take one for the team" was a phrase repeatedly deployed; at one point, after Bannon used it, Joe Barton, a white-haired conservative from Texas, snapped back in response that Bannon was talking to them like children and he didn't appreciate it..."
