Its pretty obvious you have the information, and others who are not in the field have to think about the media and others, what is normally a slow month.
The information I have has been provided by the REBGV, Zolo.ca and other real estate industry insiders. It makes little sense to rely on the pronouncements on the local media because, until the collapse in prices becomes more widely known, the media will continue to parrot the often misleading "news" which they get from the heavily biased spin-masters inside the industry.
Fortunately, there are a number of other insiders who are willing to present alternative numbers which show a less rosey picture. I think this speaks well of their integrity. Their charts, which I have previously posted, show home sales and prices tumbling since the February peak. In a few months, the Benchmark Price charts will slowly start to show the decline but, due to the backward smoothing and averaging it will initially "appear" as a less dramatic fall.
Its quite clear it is privilieged information that requires 'good reputation' and other things to access instead of random media
All realtors have access to that information, so you apparently believe that all realtors have a good reputation? Thanks you for demonstrating your level of knowledge of recent local news and the real estate market.
